About Coates Hire Indonesia

Coates Indonesia was established in 1992.  As PT Coates Hire Indonesia (CHI), we began by offering specialized rental equipment such as dewatering pumps, lighting towers, power generators, air compressors, welding machines, and access equipment. Later in 1998, Indonesian division of a well-known Australian brand of lighting tower ALLIGHT became a subsidiary of CHI.

In July 2011, we expanded our reach by launching PT Coates Services Indonesia (CSI), focusing on the supply of dewatering pumps, lighting towers, technical support, and spare parts across Indonesia. Our Balikpapan facility also houses the VA and Retrofit Centre, where our skilled specialists and technicians expertly rebuild and retrofit equipment, ensuring peak performance for our clients.

With the combined strength of Mitsubishi Corporation and our sister company PT.
