The project

PT Unggul Dinamika Utama, a coal mining contractor in Kaliorang area, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan required reliable Lighting Tower and on-site services to complete the project. Coates provided Lighting Tower Powerlink CS2000 (4x500Watt – LED) with engine Kubota Z482-E4, Hydraulic System and Telescopic Extension. Fuel capacity is 90L and fuel consumption is 0.76 L/Hr.

The Lighting Solution

Since the first delivery for only several units in 2021, along with mining expansion, the population now has been more than 40 units. The reliability of the units has been proven under the mining operations. There are no significant technical issues being involved although the units operate under harsh environments, such as uneven ground placement, resistance to strong winds, and protection against rain and dust. PowerLink’s lightning tower has excellent advantages for these areas.
